Do Not Ever Buy Dog Food that can Kill your Dog
Commercial dog foods can be really harmful to your dog, especially when they are given regularly. Feeding your dog with these foods can be equivalent to giving them poison. The worst part is that you may not be aware of it until the signs are visible in your dog. Therefore, it is important for you to collect information about commercial dog food and know their harmful effects.
It is hard to believe but it’s true that each day hundreds of dogs die in the United States after consuming commercial dog food. And sad part is that most of them die a painful death. Actually, there are very few commercial dog foods that can be termed as beneficial for dogs. However, the ads that we see of commercial dog foods on TV suggest that they are actually good for dogs. However, the truth is far from it. In case you find your dog inactive or lazy for long periods then chances are that you had been feeding it commercial dog food for a while. Kidney failures are common in dogs that are regularly with these foods as they contain harmful preservatives.
One of the main reasons why most dog food manufacturers use preservatives in their products is because they are known to enhance the shelf life of the products and can therefore increase their profitability. Another scariest part associated with these foods is that they are known to contain few deadly chemicals that have long been banned for consumption purposes in humans as they are known to cause health problems like kidney cancer, skin cancer, liver dysfunction, blindness, behavioral problems, etc.
It is common to see certain labels like “preservatives free”, “all natural ingredients” and “chemicals free” in dog food packages. However, most of them are far from truth. Enough loop-holes have been identified in the system by these companies that enable them to print them on their products and thereby misguiding innocent consumers. One of the deadliest preservatives, ethoxyquin, is present in most dog foods. As is the case, this preservative does not get printed in the list of ingredient and thereby causing health related problems in dogs. Hence, it is strongly recommended not to use commercial dog foods for your dogs.
A lot of information on what to feed and what not to feed for your dogs is available on the internet and in various s books that you can find in stores. You can rely on them to find which dog food is good for your pet and what can be a killer!
